The story of Myarose Naturals began in 1999 with my new massage therapy career.  Many years of seminars, classes and experience working with people of all ages and health conditions, has led me to my passion – working with pregnant women and families.  Myarose Naturals was truly born in 2011 with the birth of my daughter, Ella Rose when I combined my wellness services and natural skincare hobby for the benefit of women and families.

It was natural to name this business after the girls who inspired it: Mya, the vivacious preschooler and Ella Rose, my beautiful baby.  By creating a line of pure, natural products, I hope to limit the stress that their little bodies are under from toxic ingredients and allergens.  I hope that other women will benefit from the natural solutions I have discovered.  Experiencing the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy and motherhood has led me to personalize my services to the needs of overburdened and over-stressed women.  I hope that my experiences will assist me in providing all women with relief from the many challenges they face.

Team

Erica Slykhouse is a passionate,  environmentally conscious wellness educator and massage therapist, practicing since 1999.  Erica has trained in a variety of modalities which allow her to customize each session to the needs of her clients.  Erica is a new mom, a loving wife, an aspiring gardener and outdoor enthusiast.  Her biggest challenge is balancing baby and business. She enjoys time spent outside or with family and friends and tries to support her clients in finding relief and enjoyment in their own lives. 

David is the comedian of the family. The assistant, motivator, disciplinarian and jack of all trades.  It takes a strong man to tolerate 3 1/2 girls (the 1/2 is our dog), but he is the glue that holds us together.

Mya is the resident helper.  Her cheerful, vivacious attitude and contagious giggle keeps us positive.  She loves to help stir, measure and pour the soap, then pick out the animal shapes for the molds.  She is a great big sister and helps me by entertaining her busy little sister, who absolutely adores her. She is happiest playing dress up – her favorite things are pink or sparkly.

Ella Rose is the inspiration for my business and my life.  My pregnancy and her birth motivated me to create the Mom & Baby line of products and softened my heart to the needs of pregnant women and new moms. Though just a baby, she keeps busy, moving, learning and chasing after her big sister.  She is also the guinea pig for the baby products and services and is the constant reminder that learning is best done through experience.

Luna is the mascot of the team.  She watches over the girls and guilts us into taking her for more walks than we might otherwise enjoy.
